IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE A NEW TAX ASSESSMENT YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO FILE FOR THE HOMESTEAD CREDIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR WHEN YOU DO RECEIVE YOUR NEW TAX ASSESSMENT, SO BE AWARE.
NOW THE REAL TRICKY PART THIS APPLICATION MUST BE IN THEIR HANDS BY **FEBRUARY 12TH** IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THE HOMESTEAD CREDIT ELIGIBILITY YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN THE CREDIT AND YOUR ASSESSMENT CAN RISE AS MUCH AS 50%. USE THE LINK BELOW TO PRINT THE APPLICATION, USE THE SECOND LINK TO PULL UP THE TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER FOR YOUR PROPERTY. (WHICH YOU NEED FOR SECTION 1 OF THE APPLICATION.)
